Course Description

Ableton Live is one of the most powerful music production software tools on the market. It has become a necessity for virtually everyone working in the electronic music realm. From beginners to advanced producers, Ableton Live allows musicians to explore their creativity in new and unique ways. In this course you will learn everything from set up to final mixing and FX. You will learn the skills and have the know-how with Ableton Live to be able to produce your music without being restricted by not knowing everything there is to know about how to use the software.

You will learn all the main funtions of Ableton Live for music production.
You will carry out and complete practical "homework" that will be oriented to the different parts of the program

You will develop music production knowledge and the ability use all the "weapons" available to create music.

Audio, warping, editing, envelopes.
MIDI, creating, editing, recording,exporting.

How to prepare a Live Set from scratch, organization, midi assign, transitions.

On successful completion of the course you will be able to reach an understanding of all the main functions of Ableton Live in order to create a Live set or a production + other external software and hardware.

Computer, Soundcard and midi controller - if you are wishing to do live sets remember that as well as a midi keyboard you will need a midi controller with faders.
