Course Description

Before you embark on your journey to build your own studio or any form of surround sound reproduction space, you might want to understand the pitfalls many have already had to live with. The difference between stereo and a surround listening environments require more than just multiple speakers. This course introduces you to the fundamentals required in designing a good surround listening environment.

Understanding the multiple formats used is an asset that cannot be ignored. Sinced we've moved into surround sound, visual has become the dominating factor that intrudes your acoustic imaging. Most of our studio design today, as well as our leisure/consumer spaces are mostly centered on visual with music/sound added. The ability to understand the difference between what is being played and heard allows you to tweak the right knobs and get the most out of your listening environment.
