Masters in Creative Media Practice
The Master of Arts in Creative Media Practice (MACMP) is validated by Middlesex University, England. It is a continuing professional development and research program specific to the creative media industries. The partnership between Middlesex University and SAE Institute features and capitalises on the strengths and the outstanding reputation of both organisations: MU for its renowned academic excellence and its initiatives in Work Based Learning (for which it has been awarded a Queen's Anniversary Prize); and SAE Institute for its state-of-the-art technology facilities and industry credibility.
The essential feature of this Masters program is its focus on professional creative media activity, and its procedure for assigning recognition and accreditation for professional experience. The program facilitates creative research and professional development, and encourages students to define, refine and enhance their creative and technological skills and abilities.
The program is also available to students without substantial professional experience, for whom the recognition and accreditation of professional experience is replaced by individually agreed technical development tuition and project work at an SAE Institute Centre.
Thus, precise details of the program are 'personalised' and individualised within the overall structure to suit your talents and professional circumstances: the nature of your major research or professional development project, the essential resources needed to undertake it, the pre-requisite foundations, experiences and skills, can all influence the profile of the program for each student.
Students can work on the program alongside their normal employment, but may choose to undertake a portion of their research at one of SAE Institute's Centres. Inquiries are invited from all interested professionals who wish to continue their education and training at the Masters Degree level.
