The aims of the SAEOnLine Graduate College are:

• To support and reward professional excellence in postgraduate studies for the creative media industries
• To provide a truly international learning environment through which talented industry professionals can pursue their creative interests to the highest levels
• To foster and reward independence of thought, creative originality, research integrity and vitality, and industry relevance and recognition.

To reach these aims the SAEOnLine Graduate College will:

• Offer programs of study designed specifically for the needs and talents of creative media professionals.
• Deliver those programs through a flexible and accommodating blending of digital media and telecommunications delivery methods.
• Recognise the 'academic value' of professional responsibilities and achievements and work directly with professional applicants to credit them towards higher qualifications.
• Organise and convene specialist conferences at which the latest ideas, technologies and developments can be shared, examined and evaluated.
• Provide individualised and specialised support for each postgraduate student to make the study process convenient and achievable within a professional working routine.
