SAE Online Short Courses

Short courses at SAE Online are intended for anyone with the desire to broaden his or her knowledge in Audio & Music , Animation, Business, Games, Creative Media and Film. The courses are dense 4-week programs and would typically require about 10 hours a week, including theory reading, practical assignments, (online) research, tests, peer interaction and group sessions.

Our beginner (101) level short courses are an ideal stepping stone into the fantastic media industry, and the intermediate (201) and advanced classes (301) enable you to study further in a subject you are experienced with or have previously taken a course in.

We also have VIP Signature courses which are best seen as master classes where the VIP is typically someone with significant credits to their name, where their work speaks volumes around the World!

Online classes are in group form: courses commence at specific days and run for four weeks. You are required to complete course work in specific weeks, however within the specified week you will usually have the freedom to plan as you like within our open learning system. During your course you will interact with like-minded students from all over the planet. In many courses you will have the opportunity to connect live at given moments using live chat, Skype or other methods.

Your ‘Learning Advisor’ will be your online lecturer. We prefer calling them learning advisors as they have the task to guide you through the resources, help you to find the right information at the right time and organise all sessions and grading. All learning advisors are experienced SAE lecturers or industry professionals – the best you can get. In most cases your learning advisor has developed the SAE Online short course based on years of teaching and professional experience.
